Béla Bartók opened the door to chromatic line writing and inspiring Balkan rhythms for Alon Farber.

"The Bartok Blues" channels this influence into 24-bar blues territory - odd-meter intro leading to two choruses where soprano sax and piano counter-melodies dance through chromatic landscapes. The second single from "Dreams I Dream" fuses Hungarian classical genius with American blues soul. When East meets West, magic happens in the music.
