"Minuet for Maya" (Alon Farber) the "Hagiga" live at the Jerusalem Jazz Festival with Dave Douglas
"Minuet for Maya" was written by Alon Farber for the "Hagiga", and it is played here at the Jerusalem Jazz Festival (June 2023), where we had the enormous privilege to play with the most amazing trumpeter Dave Douglas (USA), who brought so much energy and imagination to this tune. Solos here by Alon Farber and Oded Meir. The band sounds so good here in some group improvisations, leaded by Dave, who inspired us so much. This recording appears as part of an album, called "The Magician" and it is released in Origin Records in February 2024 This is our second album with Origin Records, first one called "Reflections on Freedom" and released in 2021.
